Automatic password removal works for the following models:

All Seagate hard drives except 7200.11 models (we are working on 7200.11)
All Toshiba hard drives
All Western Digital hard drives
All Maxtor hard drives except STM series (STM models are actually Seagate hard drives)
All Samsung hard drives with the exception of old hard drives made prior to 2004
All Fujitsu hard drives with the exception of latest models (MHW and newer); remaining models are to be added in 2009
The following Hitachi hard drives are supported: IC25NxxxATMRxx, HTxxxxxxxM9ATxx, HTxxxxxxxG9ATxx, HTxxxxxxxG9SAxx, HTxxxxxxxH9ATxx, HTxxxxxxxH9SAxx, HTxxxxxxxJ9ATxx, HTxxxxxxxJ9SAxx, HTxxxxxxxK9ATxx, HTxxxxxxxK9SAxx; more models are to be added in 2009

Full firmware access:

Fujitsu hard drives: all models are supported
Samsung hard drives: all models are supported with the exception of old hard drives made prior to 2004
Maxtor hard drives: all models are supported except STM series (STM models are actually Seagate hard drives)
Western Digital hard drives: all models are supported
The following Hitachi hard drives are supported: ATMR, M9AT, G9AT, G9SA, H9AT, H9SA, J9AT, J9SA, K9AT, K9SA, PLA3, PLAT, ATCS, DLA3, DLAT, VLAT, DTLA, AVER, AVVA, AVVN, AVV2, ATDA, DPTA, DADA, DARA, DBCA, DCXA, DHEA, DTTA, DJNA, DJSA, DKLA, DTCA; more models are to be added in 2009
Toshiba: only automatic firmware recovery is possible
IBM hard drives are not supported at the moment, but full support for these hard drives will be introduced in 2009
Seagate hard drives are not supported at the moment, but full support for these hard drives will be introduced in 2009
Quantum hard drives are not supported; no plans for these drives since Quantum does not make hard drives for a long period of time
